| Enhanced Feedback Algorithms |
The adaptive feedback cancellation algorithm used in Sonic
Touch constantly monitors for changes in the environment
that may cause feedback. When a change is detected, the
phase canceling system quickly calculates and applies
a “counter-signal” that removes the feedback without
decreasing amplification. Some environments—like listening to music or riding in
a car—produce tonal sounds that adaptive systems can
misinterpret as feedback. For these situations, Sonic Touch
offers fixed feedback cancellation that is not susceptible to
